Kathy Beavan is a paediatric dietitian, who has worked at Dorset County Hospital for 15 years, and within paediatrics for just over 25 years. Prior to this Kathy worked in adults. Kathy has a special interest in children who do not eat for a variety of reasons and works with them and their families to improve their dietary intake and enjoyment of food. She is working to establish an all-age ARFID service across Dorset.

Kathy will discuss some of the reasons why children don’t eat and the repercussions for them. She will share some approaches for different age groups that might be effective in getting children to eat more variety and new foods. She will share some useful resources and is happy to answer your questions.
