Activity Afternoons at WOEC

Saturdays 5th April, 3rd May, 7th June, 6th September and 4th October

14:00 – 17:00

The Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre

WOEC is a Dorset Council facility designed to support young people with additional needs to enjoy adventurous activities. Their instructors are trained to support Autistic children, however a parent/ carer must stay on site. We have booked 6 sessions at WOEC in 2025. There are a wide range of potential activities that can be offered (See list below). The final choice of activity will depend on the weather and the age and needs of the young people who sign up. The final choice of activity will be communicated a few days before each event.

Potential activities On site: Indoor Archery, Outdoor Climbing Tower, Indoor Climbing/Traverse Wall, Indoor Tunnels / Caving, Indoor Orienteering, Team Challenges, Bushcraft – fire lighting

Off site (using WOEC mini bus to transport group): Tandem Kayaking, Mega Paddleboarding, Rock Hopping, Shelter Building, Solo Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Rock Climbing

This activity is aimed at children aged 8 and up.

£5 per child, £3 per sibling
